Just got off the plane on to the land of America in New york!
This is what my plane looked like!
| Nice and pink |
I met a person who lives in New York on the plane.
She told me that "there are parts of New York that are rich and that there are parts that aren't."
I asked "why?"
She said "well there's the one who get in to trouble and there are ones who have the money.
Later on that night I thought to my self I'm going to go and ask people these questions.
What about?
-We'll how they live.
-How they get food.
-How they see eye to eye.
-How there is money in there lives.
-And how they got to the stage that there at now
I finally got off the plane.
Then I went to the Jucy Retails cars in the airport. I went to go and get my booked car and G.P.S.
I Got in the car and put the papers in the bag.
Then I drove to my hotel. I singed in and went to my room.
Got unpacked and the went to bed.
GOODNIGHT!!!!!
19/11/13
Morning
Woke up and did all my morning things. Then I hit the road in my cool car. I saw all these amazing things in my drive. Then I came to a neighbourhood that looked so different to the neighbourhood that my hotel is in.
I saw a women and her son walking.
He started out explaining that his mum was not ordinary, because she “listens to hip hop.” Then I asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. “A graffiti artist,” he said. “What’s the toughest part about being a graffiti artist?” I asked. “Running from the cops,” said Mum.
I went for a walk.
I saw a boy walking on the street with a school bag on his back and a black scarf around his face. I asked some question about school. One of the questions I asked was. "What’s your greatest struggle right now?" “Maths.” “What’s the hardest part of maths?” “The numbers.” I was so shocked. To hear what he had to say. Of all things in maths it was numbers.
I started to drive around the neighbourhood and got to know more about this place. I saw a old lady. She told me things about her life growing up. She started of with this. "My parents had sent me to a small village outside of Paris because they thought it would be safer. But I guess there were hidden munition stocks out there, because the Americans bombed the village. They flew very high. The British always flew low— they had the fighters, but the Americans flew very high and dropped the bombs. They were bombs filled with air. I don’t know how to describe it. You were killed by the air. The neighbour was killed. I spent all night hiding in the barn." I felt so sad as I herd her speak about her child hood.
From that point on I wonder of all the story's that these people would have.
I couldn't bear listing any more so I went back to my hotel. I was so sad about every thing that I was so happy with what I had. I started to look at some of the food around. I was so hungry. I got to the hotel and asked some questions about the food and where I could get some real amecan food. All I had tonight was some meat and some greens on the side. Tomorrow is when I will be having the real food!!
GOODNIGHT FOR NOW!!!
